Poor camera work there, whoever that Saxo was sprinted entirely off camera.

Sky went way too early once again, Thomas got absolutely swamped.

Pretty good sprint. Lots of guys in there with the possibility to win. Good win by JJ.

Haedo shows there's only one real sprinter in the Dauphine.
Made the others look like cart horses.
Such a messy sprint.

Yea, the overhead showed how easy that was for him.

Will Sky ever learn? 3:

I dunno. They certainly don't show signs of it. They need to stop riding like they are HTC-Columbia, because they just don't have the riders. I am not looking forward to them trying to lead out Hendy at the TdF, it is going to be embarrassing.

Haedo was past everyone with about three pedal-strokes there.

I thought Sky looked good when EBH was at the front, he did a good job. But the next two guys in the train, Vigano and Downing perhaps?, did a three second pull each and destroyed everything.

Don't think Sky obviously too early this time, it's just that Thomas is not a great sprinter. It might have been different had Downing or EBH been the man on the end. I can only assume Thomas was the sprinter given he had the green jersey.

Sky wanted to defend the points jersey, but had no chance.

Haedo looked like Chicchi in the last stage of Qatar, launched past the others like they were standing still.

Bennati's the only other real sprinter in this race and he was totally swamped. You have a couple of second-tierers like Kluge and Chavanel but that's it really. That was pretty easy for the Argentine. He's been in good form as well - we saw him push Cavendish hard in California, then beat the Manxman only to lose out to Chicchi. Good old JJ.

Don't worry about that because I'd be amazed if Henderson is at the TDF. If EBH is fit then he will be the sprinter.

It's a tough call between the two of them, EBH certainly has the edge on raw speed and can climb better but he isn't comfortable sprinting out of a big bunch and doesn't have the sprinter's instincts that Hendy has.

To be honest neither of them will stand much of a chance against the likes of Cavendish, Hushovd and Boonen.

i think sky just about got it right, but as you say GT isnt a sprinter, but they were trying to get him points for the green jersey. SKy are trying to share the rewards around the team a bit, each rider is going to get his chance, guess this is geraints. Down to geraint to pick up some points tommorow now.

But, they did go a bit early as usual. ;)

Hendo almost certainly wont be there, EbH will be, but i still dont think he should be.
