Really should have isolated Thomas before attacking him on the descnent. Especially Castro is too big an engine to be there on the flatter sections.

True. Latour's attack was worth the shot, but pretty useless without allies. Once nobody joined, best thing was waiting and setting a high tempo.

Yeah. It's good testing ground, but the descent alone isn't gonna make the difference. Race needs to be blown up on Col de Pre already, and sadly Sky will have 4 riders in the last 20 and always easily outnumber any agressive move unless there are multiple teams together and top riders together at the head of the race.

Sky killing every race one race at a time
As they should.
They have the leaders jersey.
When they didnt they exploded the **** out of it. ;)
OMG they have animated one stage in 9 years. Praise be to the Lord in the Sky

2 to be fair. When Froome was a few seconds after Aru last year in the Tour, they smashed the Foix stage very entertainingly.

And come to think of it, the same happened in the Dauphiné last year. So it's not entirely wrong.

Good to see that a 7 man Sky B team can control this stage no biggie.
Its team A mate.
All these guys are going to the Tour. Tao, maybe not
No Bernal
No Froome

Thomas would be the 3rd to last man for Sky in the Tour.

Also, consider that Kwiat and Moscon didn't do anything today. Stage was controlled by 4 domestiques. That's whay you get with these short stages.
