Well... that gives an idea of what will happen at TdF :) (and that's without Dawg)
Still remember Froome hitting the front and taking such incredibly huge pulls in the 2015 TTT at the Tour.

Predicted that 2 or 3 teams would get to within a minute of Sky which proved correct - Thought there would be less teams in the one to two minute gap behind Sky - Transpose this to GC teams in the TDF - Sky will not be any stronger, BMC will definitely be stronger, Mitchelton Scott should be a bit stronger, Movistar should be around the same level, Lotto NLM Jumbo will be stronger, FDJ and AG2R about the same level, UAE about the same level, Bahrain Merida maybe a little better and Katusha around the same level.

Doubtless Sky will be favorites in the Tour for the TTT but other teams were also missing some of their better TT riders. BMC had half their team missing. Still a massive margin for a TTT.

I'd be very surprised if Froome or Dumoulin will be a factor at the TDF - They'll be cooked from the Giro.

I still doubt sky will dominate a race with 4 consecutive MTFs without Froome & Bernal.
Will not have to dominate.
Current gaps should be enough:
Yates +1'27
Bardet +1'52
Nibali +2'28

Yates is actually at 1:17. Also consider Zakarin at 2:07 for one. I don't think this race is over yet though, on four mountain stages you can quite easily lose such amounts of time.

Yates, 1:17, my fault.
Zakarin? - don't think so, Bardet may be most dangerous IMO. Yes, this race is not over.

not looking forward to the "Tour d'ennuì".....if these are the premises.
The Giro was satisfying at least.

Any race organiser who includes a TTT should spend at least a year in prison so they can reconsider their criminal behavior.

Bahrain incredible weak.
Nah, this is their C squad apart from Nibali.
Who forms their B and A squads?

Still see him dropping 1-2 min in the Tour with his team to the best.

Hopefully he might be able to take some time back on the cobbles stage. Because that stage hopefully will be carnage.

Thats what I thought.
Maybe the Izz Broz would help in getting it below 1 minute.

We just got proof that Froome will get a minute on everyone else through nothing but following wheels. Then there is another minute waiting for him in the ITT. He can win the Tour overcooked just fine but really he is just medium rare now after that Giro.

Woah..
Richie Porte will take time on Froome and vice versa in the ITT.
He cant win undercooked. Thats for sure.

Its nice to see a team clicking on all cylinders like that in a TTT.

Hart will be out and Froome, Poels and Bernal will join this team. Probably no space for Rowe as well

I think Rowe will be there and van Baarle not. Rowe has a high status as the capitain de route in the team and seems very treasured.

BMC will be much stronger at the Tour as their A squad in at Suisse. Bahrain will also have a stronger squad for the Tour as the Izagirre brothers will be there and I'm fairly sure they have at least 1 or 2 other guys at Suisse with them that are most likely going to the Tour. This Movistar squad is very young (other than Erviti) and has at the most 2 guys (Soler and Erviti) going to the Tour. Most of their Suisse team is headed to the Tour. Having said that, they'll be lucky if they can be within a minute of BMC and Sky at the end of the TTT.
As for this Dauphine, after the TTT all I can say is I'm glad I was DVRing the race for future watching and haven't invested any time as of yet in watching because after today it doesn't look like it's worth investing any time in watching.

I can easily see Thomas or Kwiatkowski losing 2+ minutes in the final stages - This is a tough dauphine.
