Now Max is listing a pre race show everyday at 7am for the Giro

The Breakaway I assume the worst.

Now they have changed the multi-screen to "Multi-Feed"

I'm guessing that choices of ambient noises and or different languages?

I think Eurosport views used to have an option like it. First time I've noticed in on our Max options.

there's been a "no dialogue" audio option for every race Max has shown this year, i've used it a lot. i plan to use it a lot for the Giro as well.

bottom right, toggle to the icon that looks like a rectangle with two horizontal lines, that will bring up all the audio track options for different languages, one of them says "no dialogue"

Hm, what does Max mean by multi-feed? The suspense is just killing me, we'll find out shortly.

This is how it looks to me:

I guess you have a feed with the English language studio, an international feed where you can choose the audio, and then the multiscreen too (new feature).

Multiscreen looks good!

It's a bit like tennis or golf where you can (hopefully) catch all the action going on all at once, so far it looks very promising.

Edit: I'm enjoying the multi-screen coverage so far, the only thing is the heli shots look more sepia like while the tint on the other three cameras is more natural. I'm presuming the heli must have tinted windows... it's noticeable, but ultimately it's a minor quibble.

Not today, but for future stages I will have one multi-screen going and the regular broadcast on another screeen.

i wish they had a "world feed" option as well, the british post-race coverage is infuriating. cutting away from the pink jersey presentation to show an interview with the first guy dropped from the breakaway.

Peacock for Dauphine, Flobikes for Suisse.

Max has some smaller races now but the Giro is a tough act to follow.

Does MAX have any WT races left this season? I kept it since I joined but don't recall there was anything worthwhile post Giro. They raised the price high enough that I may just drop it and rejoin next year.

Dauphine, TdF, Vuelta should be peacock.
That leaves Lombard and I can't remember who has that race.

I can't get excited about rest of the calendar

OK, I searched this thread and here is some of the conversation we had on this topic last September

Max to close out the year...

Montreal Sunday

Grand Prix de Wallonie Blegny - Namur (202.3km)
Sep 18, 10:00 AM

Tour of Luxembourg 5 stages starting
Sep 18, 9:00 AM

Kampioenschap van Vlaanderen Sep 20, 9:35 AM

GRAN PIEMONTE
Oct 10, 9:00 AM

TOUR OF LOMBARDY
Oct 12, 4:00 AM

I assume Worlds is Flo-bikes? dammit

So maybe assume we are getting similar this year.

Warner Discovery whatever you call it, is going split themselves in two, I don't know what it will mean for cycling coverage.
But it sounds like sports won't be apart of HBO Max, it will be lumped in with discovery

I've been enjoying the Dauphine with McCrossin. How does he do it all by himself? I'm sure part of it he only has two hours to fill since the race is covered from kilometer 0.

And the Dauphine has been ad free. Will it remain so this weekend?

McCrossin can be a bit dry at times but much preferred to the alternative.
The tv show for the race is Sunday at 2PM EDT for 1 hour. However because there is a show we'll probably get commercials all weekend unfortunately.

For those traveling to the Tour de Suisse through a VPN it'll stream on SRF2, or SRF's sport livestreams. Swiss German commentary is included! :D

I'm excited for the tour, but part of me is absolutely dreading the never-ending adverts on NBC.

I have a VPN, so I'm tempted to stream Australia's SBS or England's ITV at the same time. (it is ITV that airs it in the UK?)

I know both those streams do adverts, but maybe they have less, or at least
