I see that Peacock will be airing "The Move" podcast with Lance and company after the end of each stage.
PUKE. I won't be watching that.I see that Peacock will be airing "The Move" podcast with Lance and company after the end of each stage.
It's funny how in sports people forgive and forget over time, and the younger generations may not even be aware of the Lance-Oprah interview some years back. And they may not be aware of all that had led up to it...PUKE. I won't be watching that.
Exactly! They are giving the lying, cheating bully a pulpit as if he wasn't BANNED for life. It's funny how in sports people forgive and forget over time, and the younger generations may not even be aware of the Lance-Oprah interview some years back. I don't care if Lance has his little podcast on youtube or whatever because anyone can, but that a huge company like NBC gives Lance a platform is rather jarring for those who have not started following cycling just yesterday.

Capitalism at it's worst. Who cares about ethics in this country anymore? Put 2 Banned for Life, liars and cheaters on to make $.Why shouldn't they give him a pulpit. This is commercial TV and the Move porcast rakes in 1+ million dollars during the TDF.
It will be interesting to see if Phil and Roll even refer to it. NBC might even put the graphic up, but will they comment "Coming Up Next, The Move! My vote: Don't think soExactly! They are giving the lying, cheating bully a pulpit as if he wasn't BANNED for life.
Is Christian Vande Velde still part of Peacock posse? It will be interesting to see if Phil and Roll even refer to it. NBC might even put the graphic up, but will they comment "Coming Up Next, The Move! My vote: Don't think so

He was for first stage of the Dauphine. The remaining stages were just the world feed with McCrossan (think that was his name). Is Christian Vande Velde still part of Peacock posse?
This year’s coverage will be better than ever, spearheaded by play-by-play caller Phil Liggett, aka the “Voice of Cycling,” who will be calling his 53rd Tour de France. He’ll be on-site at each stage, alongside analyst Bob Roll, and reporters Steve Porino and former professional cyclist Christian Vande Velde.
The broadcast will also include “Team Radio” audio, featuring clips of communications between team directors and their riders throughout the race. NBC Sports will also utilize the state-of-the-art “virtual” graphics Telestrator, delivering augmented reality cyclist graphics that commentators can move and analyze, alongside interactive maps tracking riders in real time and highlighting each stage’s specific terrain profile. You’ll also get to ride along via motorcycle with Vande Velde, who’ll have a camera focused on him as he offers updates straight from the action.
Other broadcast elements include real-time data highlighting course gradients and rider speeds of both the leaders and the peloton, updated graphics that allow for easy identification and focus on particular riders, and exclusive profiles on teams and riders.
It's likely some version of social media cross pollination.. Algorithms pick at different cycling content.. Currently for me I seldom click on TNT, NBC or Peacock cycling content but if I click on Cyclingdane, Move, ( WEDU channel) or Roadman it leads me to other things. Maybe if I watch NBC it will get me to something I like.. doubt it. I feel the opposite , NBC is lucky to have affiliation with George and Lance, Spencer, not the other way around. The Move podcast last year featured in the American coverage of the TDF. I can't remember you complaining then.
I only ask because early early this morning I watched..He was for first stage of the Dauphine. The remaining stages were just the world feed with McCrossan (think that was his name).
It did? I missed that or I would have been complaining! The Move podcast last year featured in the American coverage of the TDF. I can't remember you complaining then.
Wow only 3 stages on tv? It is on Tomorrow at 8AM and Sunday at 4PM obviously not live..I don't remember what they did last year, this year Peacock has every stage, but broadcast NBC only has stages #1 and 20.
So, thinking about it, maybe Bob Roll and CVV are only doing those stages.
update :
Roll is still a Lance buddy so I'm sure he will.It will be interesting to see if Phil and Roll even refer to it. NBC might even put the graphic up, but will they comment "Coming Up Next, The Move! My vote: Don't think so
I have it on NBC TV and Peacock. Last year the commercials were rarely at the same time. But there was a 1km diff in where they were, the stream always being behind. So this morning I have peacock on the TV and Britain's ITV on the laptop.
My hope is they are never on adverts at the same time.
Well Phil has already told the audience and encouraged them to stay after the race for The Move with Lance and cohorts including interviews with Johan. Both banned for life.It will be interesting to see if Phil and Roll even refer to it. NBC might even put the graphic up, but will they comment "Coming Up Next, The Move! My vote: Don't think so
Liggett was and always will be an Armstrong shill.Well Phil has already told the audience and encouraged them to stay after the race for The Move with Lance and cohorts including interviews with Johan. Both banned for life.
The program is sponsored by The Feed!!Well Phil has already told the audience and encouraged them to stay after the race for The Move with Lance and cohorts including interviews with Johan. Both banned for life.
All the others were given suspensions Not Bans, big difference. Mostly for admitting the error of their ways and turning states evidence (Hincapie, Vaughters, etc). They served their suspensions and were allowed back. Lance fought all the way to the end with his continued lying and bullying. Finally he came clean but it was After he was Banned. The program is sponsored by The Feed!!
Pro cycling playing Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon game, substitute in Armstrong!! The alumni of Slipstream, US.Postal cross contaminated to the ugliest degree.. Christian " sorry I doped" Vande Velde ..then as you connect to Move podcast.. Wiggins is connected, although he quit to connect with Sky!! How in the world are Lance and Johan banned for life while others who decided against due process all free and forgiven!!
TV is real cesspool!! Got Aberto" ate bad beef" Contador on Spanish version, and normally hear Sean Kelly on other races. Liggett did voice over work for pro Lance cycling videos!!
Gotta really suck for NBC-Peacock, looking at numbers, more people watch and listen to Armstrong than their programming!! Obvious answer to get numbers, add Armstrong!!
I 'm watching the Tour on my TV on Peacock via Comcast cable. I'm having no technical issues at all.Is anybody else having weird glitchy issues with Peacock when they come back to the broadcast after a commercial break (I'm in the USA if that makes any difference)?
