"I can emphatically say that I have not taken performance enhancing drugs"

- Cornered Texan, 1999 TdF

Has to be done.

WonderLance said:
you guys must be alergic to winning or something. lance armstrong is keeping the sport alive during the global financial crisis, his donations are probably some of the only money the uci is getting.

Not to mention the billions of sponsorship dollars he brings in with he superstar personality. Cycling would be dead without armstrong and his money and you know it.

Grow up and love excellence.

WonderLance said:
One nut makes you better.

WonderLance said:
LA was the leader, he said so. To deny it is to go against a great champion which is a dishonor to cycling.

Albert should have waited. Lance would have and lance knows how to win tours.

WonderLance said:
Lance is good for cycling because he doesnt engage in all that nasty stuff that riders from countrys that dont speak english come from as well as Bruce Murdoch. and he donates nols of money to the uci so they will still be able to organise races during the global financial crisis.

But this thread isnt about Lance, although it should be, its about Evens. Evens is a very good rider who tries really hard all the time and is very tallented (not as much as lance) but cant win because eveyone else puts tiny motors in their bikes (not lance) and he couldnt do that because he is too nice a person.

Evens understands that he cant win races so always tries to get second place, this is why he looks so shocked and upset whne he does win.

Did Lemond Dope?
WonderLance said:
Its obvious he did. I saw him do it. Case closed.

WonderLance said:
In answere to you're question I say that he HAS TO FAIL A TEST, just once. The we will have evidence of doping. You can catch Stalone standing at an airport holding 100 doeses of roids but can you say he doped?

No.

You have to test him, they could be for his mum.

Lance has to fail a test, just like Jan and Rasmousenn did.

WonderLance said:
I think Evens has a reel good shot at third but has has to focus as hard *** he can on the wheel in front of him, practically wrap his lips around the hub, dont lose concentration on it for a single second otherwise they will ride away.

He shoudl pick Lances wheel to follow as then he will get second, if he follows Levistrong maybe third. But for evens second is first winner.
WonderLance said:
What would you know about cycling anyway, you only have 40 posts I have lots more.

WonderLance said:
I think you have this all wrong.

You are the one who is blind and connot see the truth in the world. You live sheltered in a monastry of your hate, and cannot admire beauty and truth while I snort the cocaine of excellence and bang the hooker of awesomeness.

Do you hate cancer? I dont think so

WonderLance said:
Rupert Murdoc is mainlining dope to team sky.

The dirty Kazaks cant pay their riders.

Lance is doing it clean and fighting cancer.

I think we can all see who is best for cycling.

WonderLance said:
No..

Berty has a history of dumb moves to go against the ancient traditions of cycling which historians date back to at least 1999. Last year he attacked his team leader, this year he attached while Andrew whats giving his bike a service.

He has a lot to learn. This TDf is tainted. Only Lance will ride out of this tour a hero.

WonderLance said:
Lance finished third in the tour last year, where did you finnish?

WonderLance said:
Lance gained 5 seconds in about 9kms the means that in 3000 kms he will gain about three hours over siesta boy. Its good to see that the special triaing regime of boning celebrities and charity rides it paying off.

All hail Lance winner in France.

WonderLance said:
How do you expect contador to climb with the best unless the has at least three team mates around him? Seriously.

WonderLance said:
Hey ladies.

Still noone can answer my question ha?

Too bussy trying to send me friend requests?

You regect greatness I regect you.

WonderLance said:
Draging this thread out again? Still cant get over that Lance is out there curing cancer and not wading through Spanish abattoirs like your favourite rides?

Thats just sad. frowny face

Lance is the team, he can do what he likes.

Mont Ventoux said:
Exactly, select who'll look after his bar fridge in the closet,
who'll stand guard outside the hotel room door,
who'll benefit from the semi-annual Trek bike raffle.

With an ego as big as his, there's no friggin' way he can ride in anything smaller than a team bus!!!

Keep dreaming the nightmare fan-boy!

WonderLance said:

auscyclefan94 said:
He was too busy hating others!

WonderLance said:
Lance was not hating on anyone, he was racing in the fight against cancer.

auscyclefan94 said:
I was not reffering to Lance!

WonderLance said:
This is the Lance Armstrong thread. If you're not refffering to lance I sugest you go elsewhere.

auscyclefan94 said:
I was reffering to the haters of LAnce. You were saying where did Mont Ventoux finish, I said he was too busy hating to finish!

WonderLance said:
You seem to be talking about non-lance related subjects still, are you having trouble following the thread? Please stick to the subject matter.

Mont Ventoux said:
Sadly my Finnish isn't as good as it should be.
I mean, I own a Nokia cell phone, and I really dig Scandinavian girls, but my Finnish isn't what it should be...

I like nokia too but those girls dont really look enough like my mother.

WonderLance said:
OK, I understand.

How do I become one?

Name 3 clean cyclists.

WonderLance said:
I can do that...... Lance Armstrong, Johan Bruniel and ummm.....Lance Armstrong.

WonderLance said:
you are very good argument and I totally agree with your piont. The angry people in this forum are always hating on Lovelly Lance and it makes me so sad. He is just much better trained harder and lost more weight than all those other dirty doper cyclists like Little Berto.

I heard that Lance pionered the gluten free diet and once beat up Chuck Norris.

Love. WondeLance.

WonderLance said:
At last their is some sence in this thread, you stick it to all the silly hatters they dont know anything about proffeshonal cycling like you and I do. Lance will be awesome next year and is going to kick the bums of all those dirty drug riders like little Berto and Vino who cant ride without their drugs.

Lance is amazing, did you know that he made the Olsen girls boobs two cup sizes bigger just by looking at them!

WonderLance said:
this thread is really interesting.

I am glad we are now discussing what radioshack are stocking, as talking about the colour of lances bikes was starting to bore me. Sometimes the voices talk to me on my iphone.......I't great cos i can get all of his latests twits and put my data into livestrong and learn how to livestrong using my livestong ap.

In conclusion:

Thanks, Hitch!

Ahhh, the WonderLance! How I've missed that...

The other night I had a dream that I was talking to WL about a new overpass and bridge that was being built, but for some reason I could only speak Spanish...

Any Freudian want to help me out?

Just looking at Froome's bio on the sky website. Interesting quote

Best advice:

What kind of thread and question is this? Was "it" worth it?

"It" being the hope given to millions, who in turn through prayer and willpower pushed Lance up the cols of France like a nitrous oxide equipped millenium falcon shooting off into hyperspace to confont the evil empire of doping and WADA head on. Yes "it" was woth it.

Keeping with the Star Wars theme doesn't the names Luke Skywalker and Lance Armstrong have a similar connotation? Super forces of good over evil? Even their lives are similar. Instead of Luke finding out Darth Vader was his dad it would not surprise me if Novitsky or **** Pound or Rudy Pevenege was Lance's.

That pesky little rodent pet of Jabba the Hut remind me of Landis. I remember when that thing was picking the eyes out of C3PO, R2D2 zapped his a$$. I think Wiggins new nickname should be R2D2.

Thom Wiesel:

He told the New York Times earlier this year, just after Armstrong's televised confession to Oprah Winfrey, "I did not know until very recently that Lance Armstrong had engaged in doping while riding for the team. Any allegation that I was aware of or condoned or supported doping by any team rider is false."

.....

LeMond recalls a discussion with Weisel about doping in professional cycling and quotes Weisel as saying, "I think this is bull-. Riders should be able to take whatever they want."

http://www.sfgate.com/business/bott...s-in-suit-against-Armstrong-hound-5073024.php

A better quote:
Meanwhile, speaking to the San Francisco Business Times, Weisel claimed that he did not know about any drug use on the US Postal Service team. “I never had one discussion with one coach or one rider about doping,” he said. “And to my knowledge, the guys that were running my program – Mark Gorski (Postal general manager) and (operations director) Dan Osipow – they did not either.”

“People say ‘Jesus, you had to know this was going on because everyone was doing it.’ That’s not true. I never thought it was. I don’t think many cycling teams were deploying that practice.
And we certainly had part of our rider contract where if a person tested positive, they were off the team. We were very explicit there.”

Hein Verbruggen

Every utterance is another lie:

"That's impossible, because there is nothing. I repeat again: Lance Armstrong has never used doping. Never, never, never. And I say this not because I am a friend of his, because that is not true. I say it because I'm sure. Even if we would like, it would not be possible to bury a positive test. Test results are not only to the UCI, but also to the WADA.

"So once and for all: under my chairmanship have such practices never occurred at the UCI."

http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/verbruggen-says-armstrong-never-never-never-doped

Always, always always follow the money:

From 2001 to 2004, Thomas Weisel Partners managed some of the personal assets for Hein Verbruggen, then head of the Union Cycliste Internationale, cycling's governing body, said the broker, Jim Ochowicz, in an interview.

n a 2008 interview with the Journal, Verbruggen said he had never been involved in a business relationship with Ochowicz and Weisel. Reached by phone Wednesday, Verbruggen declined to comment. "It's getting ridiculous," he said when asked about the account.

"Does anybody out there seriously doubt that Contador was riding clean in the Giro d'Italia that has just finished? You don't win the biggest races in the world with such clockwork regularity and comparative ease, and in such style, by not being the supreme talent and clean. In my experience the profile of a doper is always much more erratic and unpredictable.”

"The rest of us mere mortals have "magic days" when every so often when we can take on the world. Contador's default setting is a "Magic day". His only departure from the norm is when he experiences merely an average day. They are the only two levels he rides at. My strong instinct is to trust that."

WTF. Millar is such a ******, tripe like that is insulting. His "default setting" is a tongue down the back of the shammy.

Cycle of Lies has some gems:

Phil Liggett:
“No way he’s taking drugs,” he said. “They’re just knifing him over there.”

“This guy is so clean-living you wouldn’t believe it,” Dr. Lawrence Einhorn of Indiana University Cancer Center told the Associated Press.

Gorski, the business manager, said that because of the Festina scandal, clean riders like Armstrong finally had the chance to make it to the top. “It’s like a miracle!” he said.

Carmichael once boasted that Armstrong’s training results were “even better than if he had used EPO.”

And how about that video of Brailsford posted the other day:

“Froome has never been tested in a lab.”
