I was there at this arrival in Verdun in 1993 - it's my region!! I saw Lance after this stage during the TV show after the race. I remember his interview following this first win in le tour de France. The guy who finished 4th is Dominique Arnould current directeur sportif in the Europcar team.

I know things about Perico and Cabestany duel in the same team, and more about that Vuelta, that was the one that made me a supporter of cycling.

However, I don´t know if I will write about it (I will write a bit in the next article about Delgado), perhaps in a future...
