So who retires first: Davide Rebellin, Noriaki Kasai or Naomi Campbell?
You can add ice hockey player Jaromir Jagr to the list.

Rebellin infinito, signs with Team Work Service:
"I have fun and I can still have my say"
He will turn 50 on 9 August: the Vicenza-born, at Laigueglia ready to start the 29th season as a pro ', explains the reasons for the choice and the objectives:
"I don't care about breaking records"
What the heck?! Is that him two from the right?? He looks so old!
Considering he looked older than he was 20 years ago, I don't think he's too bad off now.
At least he's stopped bleaching his hair.
How would you bleach your hair, if you're bald? Just splash white paint out over your crown?
He just looks REALLY old….imoWell, he's 50, what did you expect?
Jeannie Longo?Anyone else had a pro career of 30+ years?
I've called him Bernard Hopkins on a bike before. He's starting to look like Mr Burns.

No, that's him wearing the jacket and glassesWhat the heck?! Is that him two from the right?? He looks so old!
Even better news is that Davide - finally - has stopped talking about retirement (which he often did at age 40-50). He clearly seems to have the spirit of a neo-pro.
Hasn't Valverde already eclipsed that? Two top 5 spots in monuments, a GT top 10 plus a WT stage win?He really needs to step it up. Otherwise Oscar Sevilla will end up with a more impressive 40+ palmares.
Rebellin has score more points than Valverde has after his 40th birthday.Hasn't Valverde already eclipsed that? Two top 5 spots in monuments, a GT top 10 plus a WT stage win?
I doubt Valverde can match Rebellin's record for points after 50th BirthdayRebellin has score more points than Valverde has after his 40th birthday.

I remember reading about a guy who played in the NHL for 35 years, and effectively played in almost every game over that period. I don't remember the name, but it is quite remarkable for such a physical sport. He's starting to look like Mr Burns.
