Foldager - I heard he said something about trying to time his condition for the Ardennes this year - and I shrugged and thought "so what, you have done nothing so far this year" - and here we are, 2 days before the Ardennes start :p

I stand corrected :D

Because it shows that the cobbles riders are more interested in Amstel when they don't have to extend their peak for it. Would not mind a return to that calendar.
it certainly shows that the cobbles riders could ride it more often if it wasnt the week after roubaix

so another week later should attract more of them . and also attract more of the ardennes riders than in 2022

Fast AF! I wouldn't have remembered him if he didn't win today, but I remember him being a strong youngster.

Crazy suggestion, film from the side
Filming from the side also has an influence, but a negative one on the rider being filmed.

Filming in front gives a rider a very big advantage (if filmed from 30m distance, the cylist gets a 2.6s (!!) advantage per minute). If filmed from behind there is an advantage as well.
That's why a lone attacker can take on 3 or 4 men or even a peloton.

But if filmed from the side the cyclist gets a disadvantage. He will also inhale more fumes.
