Mvdp has 1:29 at the bridge in Ruien, he had 1 minute for free on top of Koppenberg.

Mvdp would have won anyway (he’s probably soft pedaling atm) and I even think the fact everybody got held up benefitted the chasers as they didn’t force themselves trying to follow mvdp, so they worked better together.

Still, the Koppenberg took the excitement out of the race a bit too early.

Who exactly did he gain 1 minute on on the Koppenberg? He gained 40+ seconds on riders that weren't blocked.
