And besides even if all this happen, Derek is still off the hook as his and Premier Tech contract terminations where lawful.
That's a huge assumption that has not yet been tested at law. And most of what you are presenting as fact seems to be unfounded assumption.

I was only talking about that hypothetically, as of course nobody is going to buy the existing legal entity
As to the latter part, time will tell. As to the former, we all know from the word "If" that it was hypothetical, but given that the hypothetical that you raised
I doubt anybody is prepared to buy that entity and even if that would to happen i am rather sure that the very next step would be to transfer the licence to a new legal entity.
was the sale of the current entity, then it makes no sense to talk of a new entity in that circumstance.

No it's not an assumption and it falls under the exact same law on why Premier Tech could simply terminate their contract with no pending lawsuits at sight. Their actions where of magnitude higher in terms of the impact then what Derek could ever do and still. So if you want me to explain this further please lax the forum rules to allow for it, otherwise please don't hold the premise of "assumption" at me knowing we can't discuss it further. And as you say:

Indeed. And by time we are talking about near future here.

Forum rules have nothing to do with it. Either every single rider contract in relation to that entity is valid, or none of them are. It absolutely is your assumption that Gee has some different arrangement, and it has not (unless this has happened without publicity) been resolved by either concession by one party or by a decision at law.

Do you even know, as a verified fact, whether Gee's claim for freedom of contract is based on constructive dismissal due to his clash with an unspecified senior member of the team, or on the basis of inability to assure safety? If you do, then please share the source of such verification: if you don't then I absolutely assert that it is pure assumption on your part.

You indeed are good at facts and your arguments in debates are always stellar.

Who is that person with such insight and where can i read more about it?

I was only talking about that hypothetically, as of course nobody is going to buy the existing legal entity, one would need to be rather stupid to do so. Transferring parts of it to a new legal entity, that is on what the most likely outcome will be. If that won't happen then IMHO what will happen next is the licence will get revoked. There is always of course the possibility that Adams would put his own money into it and would try to operate this team as such, but that is IMHO not sustainable and any such attempt would soon crumble, accumulated debt the most likely outcome. Finding a new title sponsor is IMHO not realistic either, given the circumstances involved. And besides even if all this happen, Derek is still off the hook as his and Premier Tech contract terminations where lawful.

@ingsve

We'll see. Personally i am rather sure that it will get sorted out before the season 2026 starts and that all options are still on the table. "Legal talk" in this case is mostly to apply pressure, that is to encourage all sides involved to find a solution they agree on. So basically an encouragement to avoid legal actions and to settle it in arbitration.
Of course, they are spot on.

Premiertech rumored to be joining Alpecin. dear me if Gee signs there I'll have to become an Alpecin fan (I'm not)
