I remember when the first one came out(PC), great game. I wasn't a fan of the second.

The second was an affront to the amazing original. Apparently this third release is the real deal.

Well that was a huge let-down. The stereotypical voice-acting and characters, and the storyline: the way powerful entities like corporations are the good guys and remain the good guys right to the end - give me a break

It's almost a photo negative of the original Deus-Ex, but I guess a plot like the original would never have made it past the proposal phase. Times have changed...

So many disappointments with games recently, that's the last time I buy a game at release no matter how hyped.

never played these games, not sure what they are even about.

3rd person shooter ?

I needed a control for my ps3 and got infamous 2 with it on ebay (same price). Pretty cool game actually. I'm hoping Resistance 3 will deliver.

I would love to play some ps3 but i got the yellow light of death which is so cheap because i played it rarely and sure as hell never smashed it or anything.

The good folks at sony told me they would send me, the next day some loyal workers, to take my ps3 and deliver a totaly new one.

Due to their great concern and love for their customers, or so i was told, they would then take the game stuck in my old ps out of the broken machine, and deliver it to me within a week.

And all it would cost me, so said the nice man on the phone, would be £190.

All he needed was my name and address.

He cant have been that surprise to work out that the lack of response, was because I had hung up the phone.

That sucks. Can pretty much buy a new one for a similar price now (they're going for like 290 here now).

I do like the ps3. some quality games coming out, but more or less me and some of my mates occasionally play online together and talk s#it. good fun.

November will be siiiick ! AC Revelations and Skyrim as absolute toppers And Skyrim will give at least 50 hours of gameplay(Oblivion gave me 45 or so to finish) and according to Bethesda it's waaaaaay bigger

Deus Ex (the original) is the only game I remember playing to the very end (I'm not a big gamer). I loved it's massive world, the details, and the way it wasn't just a FPS game, but had a lot of puzzle solving and mystery. Great music too. I think gamers call it "total immersion". I felt it. An incredible gaming achievement, obviously admired by millions as a milestone.

I saw some of the second game, and it seemed to have none of quality of the first. Sounds like this one may be better, but has the same problem. Strange that they would write a pro-corporate, game for a bunch of gamers who by nature are against "the man".
