I was very surprised how happy Adam Yates was yesterday when crossing the finish line as the stage winner and new leader.

Afterwards, he even spoke of today‘s (Sunday) stage as „quite hard“!…

So Ineos’ Adam Yates takes Deutschland Tour quite seriously - something which I never would have expected. After all he‘s one of the best climbers and GC riders in the world.

But, nice to see, of course!… :)

It was his first win of the season. He has had a terrible time with disease all around. So that was probably the reason.

He also is of course pumping his value for his upcoming contract, since he's likely on the move this off-season. And for a top GC rider, he also hasn't won that much, because he's more consistent but less adventurous than Simon. Yet strangely, considering those skillsets, he's the better one-day racer of the two.

I don't know what they do at Intermarché, but it's good, really good. Getting guys like Zimmermann in the top 5 and Huys in the top 10 here is pretty impressive.

Zimmermann might turn into the best German rider for the years to come, always been kind of low key, never really talked about much. I have been follwing since the Tour de l'Avenir 2019 where he was doing very well in the high mountains.

Skjelmose should also feel tired at some point. Maybe he will get a bit of rest now..

Just a strange contract to see him urge Andersen to just go, and take his bike with him.
Opposed to Catalunya when it was all "I'm fine, I'm fine. Just give me a bike."

But hopefully he's not too badly hurt.

Really nice final stage in Germany for those bored by Vuelta.

Excellent racecraft by Pello Bilbao who takes the final stabe and 2nd Overall. What a brilliant rider.

"How" is easy to answer; Red Rick hasn't unstickied it.
The big question is "why?"
The forum has kind of an issue with the lack of moderators but this is really just something the only actually active moderator didn‘t see I guess. That‘s why
Edit: It‘s unstickied now anyways
