Here's Alvaro explaining why his name is pronounced Hodge. Just a typo or whatever on his official documents that was never changed.

Schachmann is a beast...did most of the work and still won. Hard to say what his ceiling will be and what he will focus on in the future. Classics? Time Trials? GTs?

I have a feeling Sunweb is going to sign him.

There was an article out today where he said his future will be decided soon. Until the start of September. Quickstep wants to hold him apparently but obviously his price tag has gone up.

On a side note, I wonder how many of you knew that Mohorič is actually younger than Schachmann. It's surprising and pretty incredible if you think about it.

To be fair with some big exceptions, cyclists tend to have similar length of career based on when you started in pro peleton. I think if you start at 19 or 22 will lead to same amount of ''peak'' seasons for you and not matter that much in long term.

Kämna was in the front group, but also hit the deck, it looks like he's slowly getting back on track.

Every day that Geraint was dropped on the pretty small climbs of this tour the Eurosport commentators say something like "his work is done for the day". It's quite funny.

Sunweb forced a selection with 17km to go, everytime Dumoulin looked back he saw Mohoric still there.
