Hmm. I think I was wrong about his results.

I just don't quite buy the "donkey to racehorse via dope" story with Froome. Yes, it was 2nd place in a GT, but quite frankly, 2011 was not a race that did the Vuelta's history justice.

I would say that in ever year from 2007-10, the 3rd-placed rider was better than Cobo. I think that says a lot about just what Froome's result means.

Cobo's time up Angliru was good though, which suggests that the level wasn't that low.

This is just ****ing disgusting.

I've been coming to the clinic for years to read misanthropic rants about evil doping *******s, and there's always some smart **** who thinks they're so much more ingenuous than everyone else.

If you want to post this sort of hatefull post where you just accept explanations for OBVIOUS CHEATING, then take it to the pro-racing forum.

Just sickening.

I think LS was being sarcastic....at least I hope he was being sarcastic.

Wow, I'm not sure if something is lost in translation here, but it sounds like you're making LS?

Libertine was being sarcastic, take a flick through this forum and note his/her comparison of Froome and Cobo. Certainly does not accept this sickness as the reason for Froome's change in fortune.
If this sickness is really the reason that Froome has only shone for about 6 weeks in his career i really feel for the guy. However given the history of our sport, I'm going to have to remain sceptical.

Froome only lost 1 minute 44 in a 17k TT yesterday so it is fair to say he is on his way to win the Vuelta this year.

Getting beaten by known time triallers like Tiralongo, Weening, Roy, Tschopp etc etc is no shame Chris. You even beat Evans so you are on your way.

Was thinking back over some of my posts trying to defend Froome and I've pretty much convinced myself that he's dodgy as ****. Had been thinking that the other circumstances justify it, but I'd not really thought about it properly.
