You're so obsessed with Sagan that you don't even consider the possibility that Cannondale will work for Viviani today.

Remember last year, Sagan DNF stage 2, he didn't want risk something in a massive bunch sprint a few days before RVV (and last years he wasn't one of the favorites).

It will be interesting to see if Boonen helps Cav today. In previous years he's often steered clear of the bunch sprint so I wonder if he will get involved a little earlier today, perhaps 3rd or 4th man and then dodge the potential carnage of the last 3km. Then again I was surprised to see him to the sprint for whatever-th in Gent Wevelgem, so perhaps he'll be Cav's last man today, who knows.

last year, he had good excuse though, he abandonded after a crash on wet 180 degree turn. Which imho suited him very well that time as an excuse. However I doubt he would fall on purpose and just not finishing in the first group might look stupid.

It's not just Cav he's up against though is it? The level of sprinting here is pretty high i think with the perfect leadout Sagan will get maybe 3rd? If he wins then i'll eat my words.

Well, I guess there's some chance sagan wins today, if he sprints. But Cav's and Greipel's odds are certainly better. However, finishing third or worse, but in the same group as the winner does not solve anything from sagan though. He would still remain the race leader and would probably not abandon the race. So sagan might want somebody to win twice so he wouldn't have to ride the ITT

really?[/QUOTE]

well, they tried sagan working as last man for viviani in oman, viviani blew it. Viviani could do better now, however he won't match cavendish or greipel even with sagan as last man.

Thanks gentlemen.

However, on every single stream i get "server not found" and the respective link. Usually this only happens on streams that are not up and running.

Are they geo-restricted?

Guys, get your facts right. 2012 De Panne Stage 2:
160 Andy Cappelle (Bel) Accent Jobs - Willems Veranda's 0:01:41
161 Peter Sagan (Svk) Liquigas-Cannondale

CN article:
Stage 1 winner Peter Sagan (Liquigas-Cannondale) was true to his word that he was at the race for training, and dropped off the back of the peloton in the closing kilometres.

I don't remember his fall, according to the pictures it was nice and sunny day...

you're right, i checked and it was exactly as you said. My memory betrayed me, cause I have quite the picture before my eyes. I need either find the race it actually happened or go to see a doctor :p

edit: ok, found it, http://www.sporza.be/cm/sporza/videozone/archief/MG_sportnieuws/MG_wielrennen/1.1270915

What's up with Kittel? Getting dropped on the flat?

He had the flu some days ago, and he was all day in the second peloton already so that was to be expected.

I think he might have done some work to bring it back together for Veelers
