Yep, about what you can expect when you have a sprint finish that's slightly downhill with a curve in the last 150 meter.

Would be interesting to know ifthey post a formal protest, Sagan leaves the line, so there could be an argument to put him last of the groupe

Great Sagan,he made he race again:D..It was his line ,there was little corner.Its Demare fault,he should sprint on the other side...
 
I would have liked to see Demare take it, but I don't think Sagan did anything wrong there. And Demare also made the right move--Kristoff was on the other side of Sagan when he picked his line. It was just a tough sprint with that corner at 25 meters to go.

If anything, Demare should be DQ. Touched Sagan, who ended up crossing the line practically in the middle of the road.
