It's fair to say that perdersen did the right thing to not rely in his sprint, but the problem is that he missed basically every big move and was instead randomly chasing other attacks and wasting energy
Should they then not have all the more reason to file a complaint if they can prove it in Ganna's case? Since Zingle was actually disqualified.Maybe, but of course this happens all the time. And Visma aren't in any position to file a complaint since they famously had an epic sticky bottle situation themselves just a few days ago (even though that one was of no consequence to the race whatsoever).
Most likely nobody can follow Pogi in ToF, but if just someone can, the door is suddenly open for Wout to take the win, because then it is gonna be a more tactical final, where he can come back.By now you'd think the cycling gods are building up karma for Van Aert to take that one big Monument win in the coming weeks... I just don't see how, he's not going to follow Pogi and he could barely follow a cooked Van der Poel last weekend. Maybe in Roubaix, who knows.
Pedersen... sprint... this isn't 2022 anymore. He was right to try and go into a reduced group, any group, because he has absolutely no chance of beating the others in a sprint here lolPedersen himself is also stupid, more likely to win in a sprint than with whatever the *** he's trying to accomplish right now.
looking at the highlights , maybe laporte was also just too tired in the end after the investments earlier in the raceThey did it perfectly untill then. But they can’t react every time. We could see on television that Ganna was the strongest of that group so you should cover it. Hagenes was always 2nd wheel. I think Laporte was guessing on his sprint more than covering attacks.
Indeed, Pedersen rides to win, not to go up against Philipsen and Magnier in the sprint. But Pedersen is very well marked at all times nowadays, and when he is not at his best, like today, he has very little chance to do anything, his attacks go nowhere and he can‘t follow Van AertIt's fair to say that perdersen did the right thing to not rely in his sprint, but the problem is that he missed basically every big move and was instead randomly chasing other attacks and wasting energy
The only rider who can possibly follow Pogi is Van der Poel. And I'll take Evenepoel as a wildcard. Both of them riders who will surely cooperate with Pogi. Most likely nobody can follow Pogi in ToF, but if just someone can, the door is suddenly open for Wout to take the win, because then it is gonna be a more tactical final, where he can come back.
Roubaix is his best shot though.
I'd think it was still a useful day for Pedersen. He needs some hard racing, and he made sure to get that today. Even if it likely comes too late to challenge for a podium in the monuments.Indeed, Pedersen rides to win, not to go up against Philipsen and Magnier in the sprint. I'm the first to criticise Pedersen's racecraft but to say he should have relied on his sprint is basically to pretend you haven't watched him for the past three years. He's not that fast anymore. It's fair to say that perdersen did the right thing to not rely in his sprint, but the problem is that he missed basically every big move and was instead randomly chasing other attacks and wasting energy
Latin.I recommend Irish or Latin.

Last season he was cooked when Roubaix came along, so they made the choice to start slower this year.Ganna looking a bit slow and lumbering for 2 months like the donkey from Whinee the Pooh then immediately coming alive looking like peak Sagan as soon as Wout Van Aert goes up the road is hilarious.
This sprint was about positioning and having enough left in the tank, not pure speed. That's a sprint Pedersen has a shot at when he doesn't kill his legs - on paper, he and Wærenskjold are both reasonably evenly matched and definitely not the fastest in this group in a regular sprint.Pedersen... sprint... this isn't 2022 anymore. He was right to try and go into a reduced group, any group, because he has absolutely no chance of beating the others in a sprint here lol

I doubt he has any harsh feelings towards big mouth Wout.
Also, get Warskøl to lead out Milan. Söderquist-Walscheid-Warskøl-Milan, raw power big boi supremacy!
Vermeersch looked dead already a km before, couldn’t ride as fast as Wout anymore and held up Ganna. I was saying he should go solo if he wanted to have a chance to catch Wout. It was close but if Vermeersch had the legs from E3 they would’ve catched Wout way earlier.Rewatching the final kilometer, it's actually Vermeersch who plays a decisive role. Ganna doesn't even really accelerate when he goes solo after Wout. Vermeersch looks back after his final pull, sees the peloton is there and decides to just sit up instead of following Ganna. If Vermeersch stays in the wheel, Ganna would probably have asked for another pull, and Wout wins.
Please let Ganna just do a reverse leadout.worlds in two years with affini and ganna in front of milan
consonni can only work as a sweeper to protect milans backwheel
