quick step will be mighty strong for the real classics, and they are giving their domestics chances on smaller races so they will be more then happy to kill themselves on the ronde and roubaix. very smart

i think nikki has this one in the bag btw

Who'd have expected that Quick Step would be so good this season...

Terpstra still not in the clear...

11 man vs Terpstra on 15km. Hard!!

Chavanel is there + I don't think they're going to be taking turns evenly.

He does have Chavenal back there to try to slow up the chasers. I'm at work, so I can't see the feed, but how big is his gap at this point?

Depends how well they cooperate. OPQS has quite an ace in their sleeve with Chavenel, if id does come together.

Gap is 1:24 with 14k to go

for many of the other races where they have been winning it is indeed a surprise, but i think it was pretty obvious that they were going to be the strongest team for the cobbles.

1:24.

This is setting up nicely for Chavanel.

maybe they want to create a small chasing group where all the riders work hard?

ofc chavannel is playing it perfectly atm to avoid that situation

Should they pull him back is there anyone there that could handle Chavanel?

imo from the group only sep and pippo and strong enough to handle chavanel and by handle i mean putting up a fight, if they catch terpstra i highly doubt any1 will be able to follow chavanel

I've been watching Pozatto and Vanmarcke in particular, and both are being pretty smart, and not pulling Cancellara's with the group. The deal is not sealed for anybody.

The group needs 8 seconds a kilometer to get Terpstra back. I hope its close, but I want to see Terpstra get it

Vanmarcke would for sure.
