Good too see Trentin attacking. One of the "sprinters" who often go into breaks and isn't afraid to work.

Who said Valverde couldn't ride those races? Of course he can and if he chooses to do Flanders, he can do even better on a harder course
Last time he rode Dwaars, he also was top-3 over Taaienberg. Disappeared later.

Viviani apparently back in the peloton. He is more versatile than almost every one of the pure sprinters.

Vivani abandoned, at least they announced it.

Dege showing some form, smells good!

He didn't dissapeared, was chasing Terpstra in the 4 man group until last 5-10 km, then catched by the peloton.

Viviani is DNF.
Alright.

Valverde attacks for the third time! He looks like he is the strongest in the race. :surprised:

The wheelsucking sprinter who only rides overrated races in Spain continues to attack and show these Northern hardmen how it's done.

Valverde apparently closed the gap to the front group in the same sectors, where Bardet got lost. Both actually (tried to) ride Across Flanders like natural contenders. Impressive!

This is incredible. Valverde's almost effortlessly forcing selections like Sagan or GVA at their peak.
