Boonen, Canc, Breschel and Flecha keeps looking the strongest in each tempo increase.

The fireworks was mainly in Vannieuwkerke's pants :D

The Canc shut him down immeadiately. Always good to have two guys in form

Breschel's lead isn't insurmountable, yet. But if someone manages to reel him back, we all know who'll jump away from the group in the last km.

Saxo appear to have the win sown up if neither guy collapses.

Breschel is not looking quite as smooth as he was earlier. The gap could still be pulled back, but no-one really seems to be chasing hard and steady. I think Flecha needs to make his move soon if he is going to make one, waiting for the sprint with Boonen in the group is a waste of time anyway.

Sown up might be a stretch, but things are looking good, particularly for Breschel, he is maintaining his lead or even gaining a few seconds. 26 seconds to the nearest pursuit with 11k to go.

Boonen going all out on Nokereberg.

Flecha glued to his wheel, and Cancellara coming across easily. Those three look strong today, but they have spent too much time marking each other.

20 seconds could well be brought back before the finish.

In 8km....? Not very likely for guys like Terpstra or Leukemans.

Maybe The Canc or Boonen could do it. But they ain't in the right position.

EDIT: They are getting closer though. And the 2nd grupetto is now breaking apart.
