Yes. Emily Dixon was only 18 years and 19 days old when she started the TDU this year, whereas as Lloyd was 18 and 25 days when she made her debut on Mallorca. At some point there will probably be a younger rider than Lloyd with a "real" pro contract who rides the TDU.

Lloyd still became a (W)WT rider at 18 years and 1 day, even though she didn't make her race debut until Mallorca.
And I did remember her, there's a reason I specified men's WT rider.

EF...just announce your contract extensions already.
Every year this silly dramatic delay.
I can't find a picture but EF has a medium rise building in San Diego with a big EF on the side, looks good.. Probably @15 stories or less..still taller than most buildings around it.

Every year this silly dramatic delay.

It's not just not announcing extensions or transfers, it's this whole BS of not annoucing for how many years riders sign so the public doesn't know if they are out of contract the next year or not. It's so annoying and I just can't understand why you would do it.

But anyways. Carapaz should be under contract, Ryan, Rafferty, Nerurkar and Van der Lee have extended, and I think Cepeda too. The only ones I'm not sure of are Carthy (I think he still has a contract, but he's gone missing) and Rootkin Gray (I don't think he got an extension). Chavez and Costa are retiring I'm assuming, Shaw is confirmed to not get an extension. The Japanese guy definitely won't get one either (given Nippo doesn't sponsor anymore I think?).

Rumored/pretty much confirmed transfers were Leonard, Lamperti, Agostinacchio and the Slovakian u23 guy from UAE (name has escaped my brain for some reason).

So you're basically at 30 already.

Tour Down Under start list per PCS

Any predictions on highest stage finish?
Highest GC?
Van der Lee with a potential GC surprise. End of last season he started looking like he's finally threatening to do something, to borrow a Liggett-ism. Lamperti to get a couple of 5th places in sprints.

Normally I guess Cepeda should be highest on GC, but there's a bit of surprise potential in Sweeny and Leonard as well, in addition to Van der Lee.

One would hope they can do better than last year where they had no stage top 10s and no riders in the top 25 on GC...

It doesn't seem like it's a race they prioritise very much.
