Yes. except Lamperti was disappointing in the TDU.TdU form has showed by multiple riders this early season. Good for EF to land a win. Hopefully they can find some additional success at PN.
What you do as requisite training is just that. He won the US Criterium Championships so he know how to ride in fast, sketchy packs and win sprints. This time of year he needs what are upcoming demands: long power miles and likely a little weight loss. PN is ideal for both and gets a young rider familiar with the competition's comparable form.Yes. except Lamperti was disappointing in the TDU.
Nobody followed him, so it didn't matter. If he had someone in his wheel, it would have hurt Valgren for sure. The gap wasn't that big in the end. But maybe he would have come to his senses if that was the case.Am I alone thinking Carapaz wasn't hurting Valgren's chances?
I don’t think so—And I think he would have stopped pushing if folks got on his wheel. Still a little surprising though.I was so tense once it looked like Valgren and Alaphilipe broke away and made it interesting.

Would rather see Healy stage hunting in GTs and doing hilly classics. There’s always the chance he could plop into GC top 10s if he is in a big winning break that gains chunks of time. That’s rarer now with UAE or Visma controlling those stages. No disasters on the final days of Paris Nice and T-A and that completes a successful week for EF.
Can Steinhauser become a regular threat to GC podiums for the one week races in the future?
I'm not sure if Healy will become a solid GC man as opposed to stage hunting.
