Yet another race and yet another non result, althouugh this one was bound to happen when they brought no sprinters to a sprinters' race.

Amazing what it can do to your results if you send a sprinter to a sprinter's race instead of not doing so.
EF looked very good, train was rolling, 4 pink jerseys in the front setting pace..

I think EF only has one sprinter when I look at the roster.
And in the post race interview Van den Berg said he isn't riding on Sunday, which is supposed to favor sprinters.
They should have more than one fast finisher in 29 riders.
They kinda do with Albanese and Mihkels but neither of them rode the Australian races anyway.
It seems that this year, EF is either winning or finishing outside top20 altogether, with the latter being far more frequent.
They have so many riders who could potentially thrive in those early season hilly races but for some reason it's not happening and they ride like if they were the weakest WT team by a margin. We'll see if they'll make up for it later in the season.

You overlooked how Chaves sneakily got EF's 2nd biggest result this year by unexpectedly finishing 11th in Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race.

One of the most striking jerseys, a lot of wins in 2024 and attacking, visible riders with a lot of fighting spirit. like Carapaz and Healy. Not afraid to bet on a lot of young riders either. I don't know what more you could reasonably ask of them.[[content deleted]]

I just don't find them inspiring. JV isn't helping but if most of your identity is you being pink than meh
It wasn't reason enough for me to go watch that Barbie movie and it doesn't move for EF either. I only really payed attention when Sep was riding for them.
