TT of 17,4 km. Flat TT, no profile though.

My favorites are Contador, Chavanel and Phinney.

Don't underestimate Contador on flat TT. He can also do that, remember giro '11, paris nice '09 and tour '09 where the first 10 km were flat and he had the best time at that point.

Phinney, well that's obvious.

Chavanel is my joker, in the panne this year he was great in the TT.

the top 10 overall after this itt:

1.chavanel
2.kwiatkowski
3.terpstra
4.contador
5.turbo durbo
6.devenyns
7.millar
8.larsson
9.tuft
10.boonen

time for some

Have you seen the Olympic TT?
His 29th place there surely is an indicator of good form.

Imo Kwiatkowski, Phinney and Durbridge should do well. Greenedge, OPQS and Rabobank to have several guys in the top 10 going for overall victory.

Contador to top 5. Boonen to top 10 and within reach of the overall :D

I hope Boonen does well but maybe a bit too long.

And Chavanel, well clear difference in the distance and who is participating otherwise I wouldn't mention Contador at this point.

Maybe Millar. Don't think De Gendt will do much, it's too short for him and I think he's really with the vuelta in his head.

I know it is optimistic, but I heard him say after the TTT that it was the best he himself had ever ridden, and although that doesn't translate directly to a ITT, I really hope he can do well:)

There is a route though...

Not too technical but still enough turns to keep them from snoozing on the ride.

Yeah if it's straight ahead without many corners it's more fitting for the big gear people. So Contador maybe i'm too much fanboy, but still top 5 for sure.

Phinney or Chav. Contador is not there yet, but he should be top 15

Only top 15? I can't even remember the last time he wasn't top 10 in a TT lol
Btw Nuyens starts just before Contador... you see where i'm going with this? lol

Anyway Phinney has the best cards to win though.

Oh you're right, misread it I guess.

But Vanmarcke can't TT very well at least I think so it doesn't matter that much.

The interesting thing about Contador's ITT is that it is an unfailed sample of his form.

Aside this, Chavanel, Phinney and my dark horse Durbridge:cool: are the favourites.

I don't think contador is ready. If he still has it ttp wise we will.see at la vuelta.

You could very well be right Hitch. But I say it again, I think he will surprise 1 or 2 here. He just look different, behave and talk different but for the better.
Actually, I think these 6 months has been the best thing that happen to him, and I hope he´s gonna prove that, but surely, not TT´ieng for so long in a race will be a handicap.

I believe he will show us something else, a top 3 would indeed prove his form.

Seems like the guys who came back usually got weaker exactly in tt.

Mostly if it´s a comeback from injury then you right.
He has been able to train all the time full throttle, that is the difference imo.
