That doesn't sound so bad. Probably easier to judge with footage.

Well it doesn't belong in a race.

But because it's Terpstra (and OPQS ), i'm not surprised. Mainly the reason why the guy isn't populair in the pro peloton and by the Dutch cycling fans.

What exactly is Belkin trying to achieve? They started too late methinks to go for the stage win, but going fast on flatish roads seems pointless?

Now crosswinds, this makes more sense

They should take Terpstra out of the race and suspend him for months....This is just madness and unacceptable.

From the youtube footage I saw, they shouldn't even fine him.

Of course they have to fine them (both men). No suspension, but you can't shut your eyes for this.

But hey, you're a Boonen fan, and he's riding for OPQS:p;)

Well i may be a fan of the steppers, but you beat it... Terpstra was based on the footage clearly out of line. I don't know what happened before to get this reaction...

Van keirlsbruck seems a bit cooked in the uphills

I wouldn't have a problem with it, no matter who did it. I'm quite consistent regarding riders being allowed to touch each other. As long as they don't do something real stupid like Bos did to Impey.

Fighting for positions includes contact between riders.

So true, he was really fighting for position there:eek:

At least watch it properly.

From the youtube footage I saw, they shouldn't even fine him.

Then you are just as mad as Terpstra... this was a lot worse then even Steel did. Cycling is no american football. So for you it s ok to just ram a guy whos pulling in front....I like the rider Terpstra but his behaviour is just Madness. Its not the first time and he should be teached a lesson. Ban him till the end of the year.

He could have ended Wijnants year or even career.

As a sponsor I would nt like a rider like that in my team. Like Decauwer said it du jamais vu....Druckers behaviour was bad as wel.
If there s no hard repression against these incidents then it ll spirale out of hand.

He was getting to the front to interrupt the chase, no?

What does that have to do with ''fighting for position''?

Belkin was just chasing the whole stage. Then Terpstra come to the front on a hill, and touched Wynants two times with his head. The gap however was still 3 minutes.

Why would you interrupt the chase on that way? It's a better solution just to ride in the ''train'' of Belkin. Then you don't have to act so stupid.
