You would have thought the Dutch would have built some hills. I do feel the Kaasberg or the Muur van Edam would quickly enter cycling folklore. :p

The final climbs are this one with the top at 19,8km to go

And this one, with the top at 13,9km to go

The final uphill is 1km at ~5%

Maybe if there are strong attackers they would have a chance, seeing how disorganised the sprinters were yesterday. But the Alsemberg isn't very difficult and the Bruine Put is still with 13,9km to go. My pick for this stage is Degenkolb, as long as his team is strong enough to reel in the attacks.

Tailor made finish for Degenkolb today. Too hard for the pure sprinters and not hard enough for the punchers.

Seems like whoever was in charge of the info screen writing has managed to confuse the nationalities of Hayman and Bagdonas! :p

The frequently interrupting commentator on Eurosport is annoying as hell. Talks too fast. Interrupts unnecessarily and way too often. Just annoying.

Nice for Demare.
Kump 4th - yay!!

Heli shot shows Topsport Vlaanderen with a bunch of trainers set up for warm-downs. Maybe we won't have to hear anymore about how such things are special secrets that so many backwards cycling teams don't do.

On the other hand, if he is shoulder to shoulder with Farrar, the finish wasnt really hard enough for a puncheur..

Just read that Demare isn't riding the Vuelta either... Ok the semi-classics coming up are well suited to him but why on earth didn't he ride the Tour?
