Obviously Hagen dropped when Posthuma unleashed his develish climbing abilities on the Doode Man (1km at 10%), but thank god Hagen returned on the flat by the help of a few teammates.

However, surviving both the challenges of climbing specialist Posthuma and super time trial monster Langeveld would suggest he wins the Tour at least 5 times

Just a shame he's come along in the Mollema era, so he'll be stuck with forever being 2nd.
