Don't forget Hagen was already tired from the hilly stage in Limburg where he was put under severe pressure by the awesome Ardennes specialist climber Joost Posthuma.
Obviously Hagen dropped when Posthuma unleashed his develish climbing abilities on the Doode Man (1km at 10%), but thank god Hagen returned on the flat by the help of a few teammates.

However, surviving both the challenges of climbing specialist Posthuma and super time trial monster Langeveld would suggest he wins the Tour at least 5 times

Just a shame he's come along in the Mollema era, so he'll be stuck with forever being 2nd.

Of course not, there's still Peter Sagan to be reckoned with. I'm afraid it's the 3d spot for EBH.

Are you crazy? Phinney gets third. EBH will never reach the podium with those three around.

I guess the days of José Iván Gutiérrez dominating this race are over. More's the pity.
Surely the amazing Madrazo can take over where Gutiérrez left?

Jiggy's post-Tour form seems to be quite strong. But there's always those darn bonus seconds that EBH will probably pick up on every stage.
