Congratulations Bob, looks like last season's progress is showing now! He could really smoke it this year in these smaller stage races. Not sure what his program is or his goals, but there are quite a few of these smaller races that are 4-5 stages with one TT that's 10-20 km. Could be really good for his confidence, and also for his rank within the team, if he could win a couple more.

Too bad that Tour of Med is cancelled this year, that usually has a stronger field and a tougher parcours for sure, with this early form it would have been interesting to see how he fares against the frenchmen on Mont Faron. Algarve would have been a good choice too. Alas! I think Andalucia is next for him.

If I am not mistaken this is Trek's first overall win of a stage race since Horner's Vuelta win.

Gougeard is looking promising as well
