Not really. 3 weeks after the GT double a form lapse must be significant. It's more or less what I expected. To see how good he can be in these type of races see the first few stages of the Tour (or the first stage of Dauphine).

It just makes no sense that he can go toe to toe with Pogi in the parcours of the first week of this year's Tour and then can't keep with the peloton midway through this race.

Big mentality problem.
