Is that race still going? It's more a charity criterium nowadays I think, surprised they don't let Indurain and Pellizotti take part on their e-bikes after they took the Muro out.

Indeed it's Pogi criterium now, he races some amateurs and veterans there. No wonder he wins all editions.

I can't believe riders never learn or have the balls etc. I know its a tall ask and that its unorthodox, but you just can't let Pog and co. dictate the script by now, everyone should know that.
Main protagonist attack early and create scenarios. Do everything to flip the script and create scenarios that shift the odds or at least lower them. Atleast with this Slovenia team. Waiting for Pogacar and co to initiate the attack. Well, that's never going to work. They've got nothing to lose by trying something else even if unorthodox.

Nice terrain with narrow roads. Poggi using his doms before naturally dropping out half way anyway. What else should they do. Getting hundreds of bottles? Pushing poggi along when he feel a need to piss in the wind?

More aggressive than Slovenia? Right now it looks to me like Tadej might try to solo it from the next time up the long climb.

Slovenia rides like they do because they know Pogacar will be isolated as soon as Belgium or Denmark drops the hammer in the peloton, so they might as well spend it all early - they have no other option.
To me it seems like Belgium is just waiting for the Slovenian doms to blow up and then they will strike.
