Remco is the best time trialist in the world, so there should still be hope, right?
Remco is showing some resilience, but this is the end of a hard race so freshness in the legs matters more, and Pog, being no slouch in a TT, is simply unbeatable after he cracked his direct competition.

haha, probably no
she pronounces Val d'Enfer as "Enver". it's probably do to her opposite way of pronouncing the V as F in Dutch, so she does it the other way around
She keeps talking about how great circuit races are and how they'll start replacing point A->B races...

I don't think this is true, it will be hard for sure for VDP to follow him (he'll almost certainly win if he does) but I don't see it as impossible; he did crash and allegedly have a sub-optimal preparation this year. I give him at least the next 2-3 years with a chance to win Flanders.
I see VDP being able to compete with him for the next 2-3 years at PR, but I think Pog will smoke him at De Ronde; of course I hope I'm wrong, but Pog is 3.5 years younger than Mathieu and VDP is right at the age where that is going to start to matter when it comes to explosiveness. I just don't see anyone touching this version of Tadej come the last Kwaremont/Paterberg.

commentators also unable to keep hinting at stuff, then not wanting to be penalised/called out for their words, taking them back a couple of sec later...
