Yeah, but the climb doesn't really seem hard enough to make a selection that can stick. Unless they kick even harder this time.

Italians knew what they were doing, obviously. Congrats to Nizzolo.
MVdP needs more road experience, no matter how heretic it sounds or talented and strong he is.

Yeah but he can't compete with these boys in a sprint. Where was he supposed to go? What could he have done differently?
He was by far the fastest though but had to go all over the place because he came from too far behind. If he were on the "German and Belgian side" he may have won.

VDP boxed. I'm pissed. He's positioning should really improve... he had the speed damnit
Like te 4th big one day race where he's one of the favorites where his tactics are way off.

But really nothing beats not realising you need to be at the front at the last Kwaremont in De Ronde

Yes he can. If he had managed to latch on to the Belgian train on the right-hand side, he could have won. As it was, the road just got flooded with riders in front of him, and he couldn't get through.

Pretty pathetic racing by several countries. Nothing happened the last lap. Perfect for teams with top class sprinters.
