Going from the language on the screen, I'd say it's Rumanian. If it's without commentary, how do you know it's Romanian?
They're not saying anything... in Romanian! Or any language, really.

Can't understand the locals in either city, so close enough.Never heard before of Paris: "It looks very much like Glasgow"
This reminds me of one of my favourite movie quotes:Never heard before of Paris: "It looks very much like Glasgow"
I got to listen to Jose Been (with Brian Smith), and not Kirby. Which is almost as bad. The commentary was mostly about which Olympic sports she enjoyed watching.Kirby is doing Arctic race of Norway

One of the few times I flipped over from the Women's race they were discussing how to pronounce Team Coop........riveting commentary for sure.I got to listen to Jose Been (with Brian Smith), and not Kirby. The opposite, actually. Smith said (chicken) coop and Been corrected him (though he had actually used both ways earlier, to hedge his bets). She might be a bad commentator, but she's not too bad with languages.let me guess she was probably claiming its team Coop (as in a chicken coop) and Smithy was saying nah its the Co-orp. as in cooperative.
I had to smile when Tour of Britain posted this as I instantly thought is this what all the name accent mangling commentators on Eurosport should be forced to listen to
Lloyds Bank Tour of Britain on Instagram: "🗣️ Did you know that athletes at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games have to record themselves saying their names to show how they’re pronounced? Well, we’ve taken a look through to find some of the riders who’ve

and Jose would still use the Dutch way of saying Anna, for Anna Henderson

Regarding that Instagram post, it's interesting to hear Magnus Sheffield (who is half Norwegian after all, and speaks Norwegian) using the Norwegian pronunciation of Magnus, instead of how an American would normally say it.

I can't believe anyone could grow up in America saying my name is "Mauw-nus" instead of MAG-niss.He said Mauw-nus instead of Mac-nus?
They have several versions of any race they show - one with ads & one without for example. I remember during the tour I kept finding myself watching ads and getting really confused .Am I understanding this correctly - from the Olympic RR thread:
Now D+ has ad-breaks, like shitty old fashioned Eurosport?
First time listened to Jose Béen (just bought max, and usually ES covers every race I wanna watch with Danish commentary). Damn she yaps.
Who did the Women's ORR? Much better than that wailing plonker Hatch. After a while I decided to switch to BBC but they weren't showing it so was stuck with Eurosport's ultimate idiot. Yep, that's Hatch because at least Blythe rode a bike.
Was she talking about geology, the Olympics and anything but the race, if so yesIs that Jose Been doing solo comms on Clasica San Sebastian?
That was painful to listen to.Is that Jose Been doing solo comms on Clasica San Sebastian?
I think we got breakdowns on the Basque language and the 3rd Century of Roman history involving Saint (San) Sebastian. Oh and also a whale breaching during the Olympics surfing in Tahiti. Was she talking about geology, the Olympics and anything but the race, if so yes
