Evans has also said that he will be riding the Monte Paschi Eroica and Tirreno Adriatico.

I have a feeling that SBS (Australian cycling tv) maybe doing 1 or 2 stages live and continue on with the 1/2 an hour highlights.

So really he won't be doing Paris Nice if he's doing Tirrenno - Adriatico.

So my guess that his program would be...
Tour Down Under - mid jan
Monte paschi Eroica - early march
Tirreno Adriatico - Mid March
Tour of the Basque Country - early april
Tourr de Romandie - late april early may
Giro D Italia - May
Tour de france - July or Vuelta a Espana in August & September
Worlds - October

I think that is 72 days of racing so it will be a little less than last year.

People may be wondering why Evans has now decided to the giro and not at lotto. the answer is that at Lotto they asked him to do it as preaparation and evans didn't see the point of doing a GT as prep. At BMC he is racing to win the Giro so it is included in his program.

Okay, i think if he doesn't get tour invite he might try the vuelta which I think he would be a very good chance to take the victory.

I like Cadel. I hope he wins the Giro. Really. But if he doesn't it won't upset me or anything.

However, he's got no shot at the Tour this year. He's at most the 5th-best starter, and if he runs hard at the Giro he probably won't even be in that kind of position by July.

Granted Hincapie is generally regarded as the consummate team worker, but I wonder if his friendship with Armstrong will come into play at all wrt supporting Evans at the Tour.

I think Georges will slay himself for Evans. Especially after the move LA/Astana pulled on George at the Tour. All this is very interesting, but all in all I think this was a good move for Evans. Over the past couple years you could see the relationship between Evans and Lotto diminish. BMC will support him better than any pro tour team, because they need to. It will make them the team they have been trying to become.
