Bora were trying to keep him in the first few rows in the final 30km, but he was really *** and holding his place again. Completely misplaced himself for the bonus sprint and didn't get back to the front until the space opened up on the final climb.

QS had the read on him. When he is on Evenepoel's wheel, they should fall back in the peloton and let others push him around.

It's 2024 and they teams still haven't figured out if they wanna work for Roglic they need to put people around him rather than have him be the last cog of the train.

He was good today. I don't think he'll lose sleep over the bonus seconds. He showed he is strong when he chased down Remco's attack. It wasn't easy but he was the only one who could follow him.

I think it's pretty obvious the only thing that matters is the legs, i.e. does he have form or not. That's the big question mark after switching teams. No one gives a sh*t about 4 seconds.
The most important thing today was he got through in one piece. No accidents, no snafus, no B.S. The rest is just over-analysis IMO.

Think it's not unlikely this race comes down to the TTT and bonus seconds. For PN win losing out on these seconds is pretty bad IMO, but maybe I severely underestimate Bora in the TTT.

Roglic always killing the entertainment. Why he didn't help Remco evenepoel when they were together? If he helped evenepoel, they could had go together to the finish line, and take time on all of the opponents, it would be beneficial for roglic ambitions on this race.
Roglic has the power to do better than this. If he responded to evenepoel's attack, then he had the legs to help each other in the flat section.
