Has anyone got confirmation he is riding either?
no, he is on the preliminary start list for San Sebastian, which could mean he is planning on going if recovery/training goes to plan. Or it could just mean that the Organizers just put his name there to get their race into the cycling news cycle "well no one told us he definitely won't come".

Online rumors are saying he's out of San Sebastian & still a doubt for the Vuelta due to back discomfort.
Diario Vasco said this this morning  .
Im quite confused right now, the last rumours before that were that he in fact was in altitude for more than 2 weeks before the photo he posted on Instagram, even doing intervals at a really high pace in the Iseran and training with Sepp Kuss some days, so I don´t know what to trust anymore.

Bora trainers: "Where did Roglic go"

"We ran into some yellow shirts and instinct kicked in"

Or it just means it's a pretty old provisional start list, which is very plausible given some names on it are definitely out (and have been for a few weeks).

Oh, that's dumb. But probably true.
Guess I must have imagined Lutsenko yeeting over a barrier first causing a chain reaction that brought several riders down.
I think it's normal to be angry at a guy if he causes a crash that injures one of your favourite riders

I never like dumbrowski the same way after he crashed into that signpost in Cattolica

However, is not like Roglic or his team doesn't have some responsibility in this

A barrier that was impossible to see in the middle of the peloton.

But yeah, clearly he should be banned from cycling.

Also, you expressed fascination with reaction times in the Olympics thread. My guess is that Roglic would not score very high on a test to measure that.

After the 2020 Tour edition Rogla would likely at minimum finish on the podium at each consecutive Tour edition, instead a long list of injuries was the only reward. Causes for injuries out of control when it comes to participant rider. Blaming individual rider likely makes less sense, knowing it's a system behind it making sure for such outcome to be the result, on what we can conclude, though, is Tour is a mickey mouse race, when it comes to rider safety and in general injury prevention was up until now just an afterthought.

This indeed needs to change in the future as it's not acceptable any more. Days on where you could simply do nothing and still got away with it are in my opinion now gone. All parties involved are now under scrutiny and do need to explain themself, when the unpleasant questions arise.

Huston, we have a problem. This is where we are ATM, now such problems need solutions. Obviously this won't happen over night. So Rogla will still need to win a Tour edition or two, old school. In terms of minimal safety measures taken and high risk of injury involved.
