Ganna has 4 now, after 1 GT, which speaking of sprinters is Cavendish/Kittel numbers frankly, and it's difficult to see him not adding to that.Outside of sprinters there can’t be many who can match that in the last 30 years

With Dumoulin gone home, and most of the TT specialists having done the Giro, I'm not sure who can really challenge him for it. Unless Froome winds back the clock and finds some magic in his legs.If Rog is feeling good, might he have a shot at winning the Vuelta's TT stage (13)? I would have said no after he lost time on the rain-jacket stage, but his performance on stage 8 has me re-evaluating.
He's literally the only other name I can see on the startlist who I'd consider a threat. Even with his form problems, I'd have Froome in with Cavagna and Roglic as the most likely top 3.I think maybe Cavagna has an outside shot?
In his current form Froome shouldn't be top 30 in that ITT.He's literally the only other name I can see on the startlist who I'd consider a threat. Even with his form problems, I'd have Froome in with Cavagna and Roglic as the most likely top 3.
I'd like to be wrong on this, but I see no way Froome is in the top 3. If he is, that is a huge sign that he can ride his way back into at least top 10 contention next yearHe's literally the only other name I can see on the startlist who I'd consider a threat. He needs to keep this level for another 5 years then, at least...I think Valverde, Froome and Nibali have 17, 14 and 15, I fancy Roglic to get like 20 stages or more in GTs.
Isn't the point to put time into Carapaz, Martin, Carthy and Mas? Unless someone below them in GC wins by 10 minutes that's the player list. He's literally the only other name I can see on the startlist who I'd consider a threat. Cavagna was very close to Roglic in the PDBF TT.The steep last 2kms may take out Cavagna - There will be one or two riders who have been hiding in the peleton.
Well, yeah, the point is to ride his best possible TT in order to put the maximum time into those guys. And if Roglic rides his best TT, I don't see anyone else in this Vuelta field beating him for the stage win.Isn't the point to put time into Carapaz, Martin, Carthy and Mas? It sure wasn't Roglic best day on the bike, but I don't think 2km uphill are too much for Cavagna.
Roglic blew up spectacularly and still beat Cavagna. Normally he should gain at least half a minute in that 2km climb. If Roglic manages his effort well he's the best in the world on that climb.Cavagna was very close to Roglic in the PDBF TT.

What ITT are you interested? Tissot timing might be your best shot.Question guys. Any place where I can find ITT results including intermediate times of past ITTs?
I looked at Tissot but I can't find TTs from before this yearWhat ITT are you interested? Tissot timing might be your best shot.
Cavagna had 19 seconds ahead of Rog on the flat(second intermediate). After the first part of the climb Cavagna had only 1 second ahead, then he loses at the finish 3 seconds behind. They are definitely close but Cavagna has a better chance imo. I'm not even sure what Rog is gonna do regarding the bike, is he gonna change it?Tour de France - 20 - Lure > La Planche des Belles Filles | Tissot Timing

Cavagna seems to prefer going in breaks as training for TTs. He had 125kms in the break, almost all of it solo, on stage 19!Roglic blew up spectacularly and still beat Cavagna. It's also after a rest day, which IMO favors the GC riders normally.

It's only 1.8km? I mean, sure it's at 14%, so it's brutally steep, but would the bike change take more time than it would gain?I'm not even sure what Rog is gonna do regarding the bike, is he gonna change it?
No he doesn’t. All he has is Giro stage wins. The criteria being discussed was at least 3 stage wins in each of the 3 grand tours.Ganna has 4 now, after 1 GT, which speaking of sprinters is Cavendish/Kittel numbers frankly, and it's difficult to see him not adding to that.
It doesn't give time splits in the live stage bitsI’m sure PCS is going to have it... You just gotta dig in and look for it:
