Awarded for being Roglič?
It was the weirdest podium I have seen. Vingegaard looked like he was about to faint or something. I don't know but his daughter crying so he had to run off the podium with her and he had too many things in his hands and he looked like he was still panting from exhaustion and as if he'd rather be with his family than on the podium then during his national anthem he knew he was supposed to hold his heart but he had so much other things to do. And then suddenly Roglič was on the podium and I didn't understand why.
Awarded for being Roglič?
Funny remarks about Roglic on Geraint Thomas podcast:
Thomas: He is always, you speak to him in the race, "Ahh this is not normal ah, ah I am so tired, the pain in the leg is big ah". I am like.. shut up, you were like that yesterday and you won by 2 minutes.
Wout: I can tell you it's the same in every training.

Interesting and probably a wise decision. Hopefully Milano-Sanremo remains on his schedule.
I posted a few days ago that A.Yates will be at the TDF - I am unsure of his exact role.
That was my first thought when he reached up then went back down to the handlebars. Please don’t crash! The finish photo was epic:
Laporte and van Aert: „We want to win this race, but first of all, we want to look stylish, like real athletes, during the victory salute!“.
Primoz: „Ah, it‘s only third race day of my season. Why not look like a hobo on the bike today? Victory salute will be difficult, anyways. How do these guys (Laporte and van Aert) do this, riding their bikes without crashing when taking the hands off the handlebar? Ah, I‘ll just dress like a hobo today, and take the hands off the handlebar for half a second, in case we‘re winning!“.
(I‘m writing this as a big, big fan of Primoz…)
Maybe he just is reckless, as going downhill on a bike has got to be less scary than flying down the side of a mountain.I mean I find it really hard to belive you can jump down that hill and have problems riding a bike.
