We will see. I think the other thing that might favor Remco which you guys haven't mentioned is the TT is only stage 10 and the following day is a flat non GC day. If the TT was on stage 20 I'd favor Roglic further based upon what we know - we know Remco is yet to finish a grand tour.

Its possible though Roglič's record in stage 20 time trials isn't exactly the best either.

@Gregor Slovenia, luckily for Roglič, he is more intelligent than you, so I don't expect him to underestimate the 4th rider in the World Tour ranking.

Joking aside - I wanted to find out about his religious views but didn't come very far. The reason I was interested was because it is hard to tell whether his cross is supposed to be a latin cross or inverted cross which could mean anti-christian views. So far, I haven't come very far with my research except for the fact he is an Iron Maiden fan which could point to the latter... He was once asked about his tattoo and religion in Slovenian media but dodged the question entirely. The video you posted clears things out a bit...

I've some difficulties with visual perception that makes me somehow not see which direction that cross goes in. I've stared at it so many times to try to figure out what it actually is, I didn't know if he was a goth rocker or something of some sort or a Christian. He was asked this question in the past. The cross symbolizes personal beliefs but not necessarily in the context of Christianity. And usually if there is an object like a basilica on top of a MTF. An if the path is steep enough. Then it's usually pilgrim time.

It's more that they don't wanna control breaks or stage wins.

Rogla is not so shabby at ITT either. Having one at the middle of GT race is rather good for him too.

We'll see.

Nobody is saying he is anything but a brilliant TT'er, but just not on all courses. On a long flat TT by the coast (wind) i think Evenepoel is the clear favorite under normal circumstances. But we don't know what that means after 10 days of racing.

You're not gonna gap Evenepoel on Pico Jano. No altitude, he is still fresh and it's a climb which is good for him. Just because Rog did a stomp doesn't mean he is in peak form for me. If anything guys like Yates/Hindley/Carapaz have to attack tomorrow.

I saw Roglic talking to Kuss right after the finish line and even in this video they both have very serious face. Even Sepp. And what Roglic said... I'm not sure what to think about that.

Although it was sensible thing to do he likely didn't want to give the leaders jersey away. It shows me Rogla is in the right mindset. And that the team is doing a good job.
