What options do they have?

How about not riding at the front and let Bora or Visma do the leg work? Or go all in and have Yates, Almeida and Ayuso try to set Pogacar up? Or sit on Roglics wheel instead of him doing that to Pogacar? What options do they have?

Yeah. Leaving all the leg work for Visma-LAB seems like a decent idea, also means it's easier for them to race with 3 secondary GC options if they only need doms in case Pogi manages to thoroughly spank Jonas and have a big lead to defend. How about not riding at the front and let Bora or Visma do the leg work? Stage 2 goes over the climb twice and finishes on the descent in Bologna, so technically not an exact copy of dell' Emilia. Are you talking specifically of the San Luca climb? Which will not host a stage finish?
He has to fulfil the same role, but you can't seriously mean that Daniel Martinez is as good as Kuss? The sight of the absurd that is riding with a jersey from a team and a helmet from another fogged one very important thing.
Daniel Martinez is in BORA! I forgot about that. Martinez is a bit like Sepp Kuss. If not for him, Bernal wouldn't have won Giro while getting 5th with the same time as my boy Almeida. But he fails when being the main GT contender. He's a real talent and will prove to be very valuable to Roglic.
Jumbo optimized Kuss to be a GT top class helper until his humble demeanor lagged behind what his legs showed. He has to fulfil the same role, but you can't seriously mean that Daniel Martinez is as good as Kuss?
Because they have a different approach to helping. Kuss goes all out, and then peddles in slowly to save energy for the next day.Jumbo optimized Kuss to be a GT top class helper until his humble demeanor lagged behind what his legs showed.
INEOS never places Martinez in that super-domestique role. I don't know if Martinez is as good as Kuss. But reaching 5th while working for others in a GT is something that Kuss never achieved.
Kuss clearly went for GC during the 2023 Tour. Was ranked 6th or so before his first crash.Because they have a different approach to helping. Kuss goes all out, and then peddles in slowly to save energy for the next day.
That's true, I was thinking about the Giro, where he finished 14th. But maybe I'm just mistaking about his efforts once his work is done for the leader. Nevertheless I see him as a bigger force to be reckoned with than Martinez.Kuss clearly went for GC during the 2023 Tour. Was ranked 6th or so before his first crash.

Now roglic has more chances of doing podium.Pogacar attempting the double must have been good news for Roglic.
Martinez certainly had a say in how he worked at Ineos. How he pans out at Bora depends on the rest of the team, too so it's a bit early to relegate him to domestique status. Bora will need more than one GT threat to dislodge JV's #1.Jumbo optimized Kuss to be a GT top class helper until his humble demeanor lagged behind what his legs showed.

Possibly but we're guessing way early on which team's chemistry will be impressive enough to pose a real challenge.Bora doesn't have to do it alone.
Kuss is the fourth/fifth best climber in the world, it's "disrespectful" , comparing him with daniel martinez.

JV can be counted on to bring more power than the others, though. Adding Mateo Jorgenson will allow for more WVA freedom.
Only Jonas? It's a lot only having Jonas vingegaard, but they don’t have only Jonas vingegaard, they have vingegaard, kuss, van aert, jorgenson, uijdtbroeks, kelderman, van baarle,Kooij,Kruijswijk, laporte, vallter, young guys like hagenes, gloag, staune millet. But realistically Visma only has Jonas now. And a GT double is something that hasn't happened for years. It's not unreasonable to expect 0 GTs in the 2024 season for Visma. Obviously they could win 3 also. Just as in the 2023 season. I just find that less likely.

They have the best roster in the world tour.
