Someone thinking that roglic will not win the Tour, doesn't mean that someone thinks he will not win anything. In the "worst scenario" roglic will always win one or two one week races next year.
My point was just that i don't see nobody telling that roglic will not win anything when the season starts. My wish is that roglic loses every race because i don't like his style of racing, but one thing is my wishes, other thing is reality, and the reality is that roglic will always win races every year, even in the worst scenario for him, he will always going to win some one week races, because he is one of the best riders in the world.I feel that it does make sense to include worst case scenario in your strategy. But after that is done, there is no real need to be that pessimistic. So lets stick with the Tour.
P.S. Does Jonas believe Rogla can win the Tour?
Exactly. As the expression goes, you have to be in it to win it. If he goes to the Tour as leader with a strong team, he can capitalize on any favorable opportunities. He was not going to be in that position again with Visma.Stranger things have happened. Nibali, Sastre, and Evans have won the Tour, all of them with contemporary rivals who were clearly better. And Roglic is more talented than these guys were. All it takes is Vingegaard to crash out, Pogi to be tired from the Giro, and Roglic becomes the no. 1 favourite to win the Tour.
It depends of the racing situation like the results in the ITTs.No one will want to drag Roglic to the last 500m of a stage so it could result in some speculative long range efforts.

Maybe dropping him? But guess what, there's one or two favourites that will gain time in the TTs to roglic, so it wouldn't be bad for them just following roglic's wheel during the Tour and just lose a couple seconds in the last 500 meters. What else can they do?

Exactly. If they can’t drop him, why wouldn’t he use his superior sprint to gain time and wins like others previously. What else can they do?

The longer we will get into the race the more nervous the opponents will likely get. That is if Rogla won't get dropped and basically watching Rogla polishing the golden helmet.
What is it about a rider being smart and riding to his strengths that gets your panties in such a twist? You prefer the Pinots of the bunch who's reach always exceeds their grasp? Failing spectacularly gets old after awhile too when it's pretty much all they do.My point was just that i don't see nobody telling that roglic will not win anything when the season starts. Jonas is a gentleman.
Pinot? No. I'm just a fan of Vingegaard and van der poel. What is it about a rider being smart and riding to his strengths that gets your panties in such a twist? Do you also think Pogacar is boring?Nothing wrong with that. Both are rather boring. Winning all the time.
Do you also think Pogacar is boring?
From your point of view, do you think pogacar is boring? From the point of view you claim Roglič is, then yes. As all he does is attacks.

But you said van der poel and vingegaard are boring. Why would he be? I don't find any rider in the peloton boring. All have too much going for them. Lining this dream. When they go home, then likely most of them are boring geezers indeed. Taking some time off and taking care of body fat.
