Not sure why anyone would assume Henderson is clean.
Then he needs to change Doctors!

Why? He has been a pro for 13 years. Not everyone gets to win a monument, classic or GT.

Plenty dope to keep a job.

I agree with half of what you said. Just because you don't win a gt or monument doesn't mean you are clean.

But taking a very similar line of logic, isn't it also true that just because someone is a pro, doesn't mean they dope.

Obviously there's a line of ability beyond which a human can't perform without doping, but to draw that line at being a bottle carrier is a bit of a stretch.

Let's assume Benotti is right and Henderson doped his whole career just to stay a pro at the WT level.

In that case, he didn't waste his money. He invested money he wouldn't have otherwise to make sure he could keep on earning some more. It's like a tax, really.
He could have made more money somewhere else.

If you enjoy riding your bike and traveling the world, there's not many vocations better than pro cycling.

So you're saying all water carriers in the 90's were clean?

Kimmage's team mates were all doping as bottle carriers. Festina apart from Bassons were all doping, how many were bottle carriers?

Teams have always doped, from doms to leaders, even the fecking bus drivers doped, FFS!

Astana who had Ferrari on board have hardly dominated cycling like say Sky......

Doping is done at different levels. Henderson doesn't necessarily get the Grade A doping program from Lotto.

There are many different types of water carriers you know. Some decide to dope late to make some extra money after realizing how much time they have wasted. Some are good at the beginning and they see the light and stop. But some others never do anything at all. Have no results and just enjoy being on a bike, I guess. Maybe I am thinking of myself but if you are the last one there is no reason for you to risk anything if that's what you love since you have no ambition. Is the ambition that makes them do things.

And TBH I am not sure if Henderson dopes or ever doped but not everything in life is black or white. And not just because you are a cyclist you are automatically a doper.

As for the money is concerned, if he has been doping as a bottle carrier all his life, not sure how much money that has amounted for but cannot be that much. I don't think. If somebody has the math for it please show me otherwise there is no reason for further discussion. Remember that Alex Zuelle was making quite a bit of money so he had a very good an excuse not to come back to being a nobody. Maybe we should ask Manzano to see how he is doing in Spain now.

Some riders have little options if they dont make it as pro cyclists. Whether to dope or not is not a question. Plenty of riders hope to stay in the sport and unless you run with the pack you will not be welcomed back to the sport after you finish riding. Not everyone dopes on a full program. But riders dope to make it possible to do their jobs.

So it's clear today that "stomach problems" was a lie and a cover for blood values (dehydratation)

i'm sure he doesn't sue Henderson, if his passport comes out his career will be over.

he had badzilla. Luckily he is now cured and can reach his full potetial.

It would be nice a if a possibly clean bottle carrier called out a probable doper and was vindicated, won his court case and a point was proved but the world rarely works in such a fashion. I would pay to see that movie. But if Henderson is a doper, and you have to wonder why he was so quick to apologize then it was stupid. But we do live in the age of the apology where every honest opinion by a politician or celebrity or whatever seemingly has to be apologized for later. Strange world and political correctness has many running scared.

i think it's a possible interesting subject how a very ill person can start a grand tour, come 2nd in TTT and almost top 10 in a flat sprint stage

it bothers you?

I liked you better on your previous accounts when you tried to pretend sky were cleans.

- He was very ill three weeks ago
- Individual riders don't come second in TTT, his entire team did in fact finish 3rd
- This was by no means a flat sprint stage and even in a flat sprint stage, almost top 10 doesnt really mean anything. Check this one: http://www.cqranking.com/men/asp/gen/race.asp?raceid=25981 . Wow, Frank, Froome and Talansky certainly must've been doping to do that
