Hope Fabio will get to celebrate his birthday tonight, things are going to get a bit rough for the sprinters from now on.3 stage wins and barring disaster should have enough for green now.

Yes, imagining Fabio showing up all hungover for tomorrow's stage would not be a good look, you definitely have a point. But hopefully he'll at least get a sip of that libation that the riders haven't been able to enjoy on the podium so far.So, he probably shouldn't be celebrating it too much.
Time limits in the Vuelta are a joke. I don't doubt some jokesters on here could have a crack at them, though I wouldn't really put myself in there.Being hungover would make chasing the time limit tomorrow even less fun…
That's really heartwarming. Say what you want about Lefevere but you probably wouldn't see that from every team...
I don't think so. I think Ewan is closer to being caught by Philipsen atm than he is to matching Jakobsen.Think only Ewan can compete with him on pure speed alone. He won 6 out of 7 contested sprints. The 7th he lost because of positioning, not speed.
It does look like Philipsen upped his game this yearI don't think so. I think Ewan is closer to being caught by Philipsen atm than he is to matching Jakobsen.
I think he's up there with Merlier, Cavendish, Ewan... haven't seen too much of Groenewegen or Bennett this year yet. But i think Jakobsen at the moment is easily a step above all of them.It does look like Philipsen upped his game this year
Cant think of a sprint Jakobsen won that a good Ewan or Cavendish wouldnt have cleaned up from the same position l

Dank fields and great leadouts mostly. Its not very hard. How can one even make such assessments?
