Ah, come on now, cyclists are like ice cream: too many types to pick absolute favorites. So, I'll lump mine all together: Hinault, Tafi, Cavendish, Bettini, Freire, Simoni, O'Grady. Right now, anyone else for me would be an "also ran".

Moments:That "little sh*t starter" Pantani attacking early in one of the stages of the 2000 TDF, causing Armstrong to contact the infamous Dr. Ferari to determine if Pantani could maintain his effort, ultimately resulting in Pantani getting caught and dropped and due to his raging blood lust, Armstrong bonks and loses minutes to Ullrich and others. Armstrong's victory on Luz Ardiden in 2003 after the mussette crash incident. Ahh the good times!

Thanks =D Bit of a change of pace from some of the other doping threads which keep sprouting up. I know the forums are new, but I think the mods should probably delete the obvious troll threads (instead of letting them evolve into heated arguments). Everyone knows doping was (and still probably is) a problem in the sport, there is no need to bring it up in every single cycling conversation..

Julich - loves the sport and it shows
Voekler - his yellow jersey preserving rides in the Tour a few years ago and the huge smile on his face when he knew he was successful - like a kid in a candyshop.
