No Vermaelen and Fellaini starting.

Speaking of Vermaelen, he could be off to United by the sound of things.

Looking at Algeria's team, they don't look like a soft touch.

Feghouli and Bentaleb are very good players. Bougherra did well in England and at Rangers. Taider has got playing time at Inter.

Watch out for Mahrez, I have seen a fair bit of him for Leicester, he's a lively pacy winger. Left footed and plays on right for them. I presume he will play there today.

I don't think this will be as easy as some think. Still think Belgium will win but it will tighter than expected.

One I forgot, Ghoulam has been very good since he joined Napoli.

EDIT: Their bench has some decent players on it too.

I didn't think they had this much quality beforehand.

No Fellaini is a good choice, since the ref is known for giving yellow and reds easy.
No Vermaelen is obvious.

Biggest surprise is Chadli over Mertens or Mirallas. (And I would prefer Lombaerts over Van Buyten)

Fancy SK to cause an upset and beat Russia

That's not a bad shout.

Reading up a lot on them.

It's the same manager with most of the squad from the U-20 World Cup and the bronze in the Olympics. It's a settled squad and a very young team.

Potentially in for a great day of football.

Boring match so far.
Algeria just defends and Belgium has not enough tempo in their game so far.
Hopefully Hazard does something

Algeria take the lead.
What on earth was Vertongen thinking?

Great game from Algeria so far, great organisation at the back, good clear counterattacking. I am impressed.

No, Belgium has more than enough talent.
They just seem to have the wrong tactic

I am not even sure if it's the tactics. They lack movement.

That's a strange free kick, he kicked the Algerian not the other way around.

I think that was the worry before the match...belgian's backline lack of pace in some of them.
