was beaten by two u19 Kiwis. Vink and Bevin, Vink 17. Bevin won 2 stages, and 2 podiums in addition.

Paddy Bevin is a sprinting freak. He's only going to get stronger too and could potentially be New Zealand's answer to Cav in a couple of year's time.

Michael Vink and the U23 winner Tom Findlay (if he can control his mouth) are also incredibly talented kids who have the potential to go places in the sport.

and Josh Atkins could be a GC rider. Mighty talent. The Australians talk of Dale Parker, but Josh Atkins has his talent.

Bevin won Oceania champs in Australia, and the Australian Oceanias have more depth than when held in NZ. Especially when NZ brought over some of their best talent like Bevin and Atkins. Atkins led him out for the Australian champs win in June. Then he won the NZ Champs 2 weeks ago, and came second to Vink in chrono. Then won two stages, plus got on the podium two more times in Southland. Vink was more impressive in stage one when it split in the selection. Bevin won breakaways. But Bevin has 5 high calibre wins in international races, one is a senior pro UCI 2.2 race.

Landis looks really heavy. He needs to lose the weight and maybe some better results will come.
