The competition looks reasonable and the race looks to be long. Anyone know anything about it and the quality of the result?

Landis is being paid in coins found in the ashtray of his teams van, and loose change found under couch cushions at real team member"s homes.Don't be surprised if Flandis is forced to sell Cytomax and Powerbars at races for entry fees.

It's not bad. Keep in mind, it's a typical So Cal USAC race, with a full compliment of categories. In other words, an amateur race with quite a few local 1's and 2's, but local in So Cal still means pretty fast and there were more than a couple domestic pros.

It was the Southern Nevada Stage Race before this year. Now it's the Callville Bay Classic, it's namesake being a houseboat resort on Lake Mead.

i reckon everyone should give landis a break , at least he still racing , everyone always talks about doping , 90% of the cyclists would , will and will continue to do it sooner we realise this and move on the better. And if you dont believe that then your head is in the clouds

The site also defends Lance....

if you read the "see how they convicted an innocent man" link off the homepage. References the corrupt lab and also how this lab fabricated evidence against LA.

Landis now looks to regain his title as World’s Greatest Cyclist and, once again, inspire the world to greater heights in “classic” American style!

what in gods name has he been smoking?

domain registrant is private..

all you can tell is it was registered in 2002, and its at a po box in Yarmouth, NS

but that old, id say it was his. He would have claimed the domain years ago otherwise.

It may very well have been made with his permission and him lending the domain name, but look at the quality of the site. It is sort of a joke. A lot of the text reads like a parody. The comment above about this being the new trustbut may be pretty accurate.

A comment in the HTML says, "Design by Michael Rouhotas and Candice Shepherd". Were they associated with FLandis' defense?

Hopefully Landis is starting the San Dimas Stage Race, then we will get a better idea of how strong he is right now. Fly V usually lights that race up.

Wow, that is one nutty website. It claims as a defender of athlete's rights Floyd was responsible for...the dissolution of the LNDD, the banishing of the AFLD from Tour testing, the removal of **** Pound as WADA chief and the conviction of Joe Papp for selling drugs. Floyd is truly an American hero. If I had to guess I'd say that stuff was written by Will Geoghegan.
