Sweet. HUGE as in future Pro HUGE?

I expect that he will put up a time that will be in the top 30 of the Pro's on Friday. He has been riding for 6 months. Lots of intangibles between where he is now and turning Pro but he sure has the engine.

Floyd is going to get beat by a Cat 5 in the TT on Friday.

Floyd got beaten by two 18yos in Tour of Southland. Both jnrs. Tho the UCI calendar might have turned over by Tour of Southland, cos I did not think that jnrs can ride in a pro UCI 2.2

I think one did not even have his 18th birthday.

There once was a fellow named Greg. I raced against him when he was 15 and I had a grown man age.

He kicked everyones *** including Senior National Champions. I think he became world champion 3 times. Hopefully those kick *** who kicked Flandis *** juniors are half as good as Greg Le Mond as a junior.

So how did he go?

Bad day. He crashed last week and did not ride in the days leading up to the race. His legs were like wood. He is still in third but if he had done one of the times he had done in training he would have placed 14th in the Pro field.

Many races to come for the kid.

Care to share a name, or are you going to make a busy person like me dig? :)

This is astounding, as I was stating there were Cat 1's faster than Floyd. If Floyd is only putting a minute into Cat 5 racers, there may have been some Cat 3 times faster.

Anyway, as I said before, Floyd is a non-story and we're wasting bandwith discussing him. Tell us more about the kid and San Dimas.

Kid is names Jorge Garcia. Kid has a serious engine as well as many of the other attributes that make a good bike racer. He just needs to get through this first year with as many races and as few crashes as possible and he could be impressive.

I thought FLandis was supposed to race San Dimas. What happened to that?

He heard there was an open bar in nor-cal?

Or maybe he reads these forums and didn't want to get whooped by Race's Cat5

Gonna ride Redlands next week.

It seems like the opening time trial of San Dimas would have been a good test of form.

It will be interesting to see if he is actually in shape. Despite winning that time trial in the Bahamas, he did not exactly shine in the time trial at the Valley of the Sun.
